After receiving a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation our Museum completed the restoration of the Waterous Steam Engine in 2008. presently we have 7 stationary steam engines in our Steam Building. Four of our largest engines have  have been equipped with electric motors so that we can show our visitors these huge engines in motion. These engine can also be run with steam and also compressed air. This Steam Building is a must see when visiting the Essex County Steam & Gas Engine Museum.
